The Brooklyn Electronic Music Festival isn’t your ordinary festival. Yea, it’s all about EDM and you jam out, but it’s not like Ultra or EDC. It’s not so massive of an event. It’s a niche event for a niche crowd.
I love the idea of big festivals, but there is certainly a desire to go to a more exclusive venue. An EDM event with a lineup of DJs you may not expect. A crowd that appreciates the music, slightly differently.
Established in 2008, BEMF has developed it’s identity as a very musically cultured electronic music festival. “It’s about experiencing the music in the way that lets it affect you,” said Jennifer Lyon, co-producer of BEMF.
The Brooklyn Electronic Music Festival is from November 7-8, 2014. Festival tickets start at $120 for this event.
